STRAND + SPIRIT was established in 2022 by Rich and Paige Bing. The Bing’s have a passion for investment and seized the opportunity when the perfect building came up for sale in downtown Hawkins. Rich and Paige took this chance to not only build a business for themselves but to also beautify downtown Hawkins by painting their new building to something simple yet bold. The white building with two black stripes livened up Hawkins and made the corner of Beaulah and Blackbourn more crisp, clean and new! With Paige’s skill and 11 years of devotion to hair, The Bing’s made the building into a hip, new salon complete with two tanning beds. STRAND + SPIRIT is a unique name but one that means something to the Bing family. STRAND being the play on word for hair as well as being on the main drag in Hawkins. And SPIRIT, helping bring the spirit back to downtown Hawkins, TX!
